早在2023年6月,清华大学药学院王钊教授团队在专业食品领域杂志《Food Science and Human Wellness》发表了一篇综述“Effects of Maillard reaction and its product AGEs on aging and age-related diseases”从美德拉反应(MR)的介绍,AGEs的代谢,MR与衰老和疾病的关系,以及MR的干扰和控制几个方面展开了描述,帮助我们更好的理解MR,采取健康的生活方式。
而在3个月后,巴克衰老研究所在《eLife》杂志紧接着发表了一篇“Methylglyoxal-derived hydroimidazolone,MG-H1,increases food intake by altering tyramine signaling via the GATA transcription factor ELT-3 in Caenorhabditis elegans "的文章通过对模式生物线虫的研究发现AGE会导致寿命缩短以及会增加摄食的欲望。
